Kona Day 7 – Rest Day…..hmmm has a ring to it.

Slept in until 6:30 this morning!!

Needed to get some work stuff done and then after breakfast, met with UltraMom Jane Bokus (the lad that was Race Director for over 20 years….) and a bunch of her friends down town.  Was super nice to see her again!  I picked up the chest of drawers and a cooler that I bought in 2013 and leave here for athletes to use as they see fit each year.  Our turn this year!

I ran a few errands, stopped by Bike Works to check on some new gearing for the bike and grabbed some new rubber shoelaces for my race shoes.  Picked up a few things at Target, then some food and back to the condo to work for 3 hours.  We put our new program out to the world and people are responding already!!  It is now shifting from my responsibility to my awesome staff….  That should mean that soon I can actually relax…..

Supper at Splashers Grille with Ultra Athletes Melissa Urie (an Epic 5 Finisher!!) and Toni Hodge, plus Todd – one of her crew.  We had a brilliant time telling stories for 3 hours!  So much fun!!

Then back at the condo for a little more work and not to bed!!

In other news, my legs feel quite good after the big weekend, so that is great!

Lyle arrives tomorrow and that will be brilliant!!  Then Drew on Wednesday and this party will continue to grow!!
