This past week has been unreal! Things falling in to place and coming together for the film tour in every way!
It has happened so fast and I couldn’t be more jazzed!
We have 14 showings booked in 10 locations including Calgary, Sylvan Lake, St Albert, Drayton Valley, Spruce Grove, Leduc, Wetaskiwin, and my home town – Fort St John.
It’s a BIG ask to try and get the donations to overcome the expenses and then reach the cost for the Music Licence rights.. but according the optimistic spreadsheets – we can pull this off!!
We also created a ‘donate now’ button on the website in case anyone has seen the film, or cannot make it out, but still want to support us. www.warriorcodefilm.com
I am working away on the book that will cover a few years at the world championships, as well as the crash and recovery. I know that will be another monumental task, but I seem to love those!
We are getting some promotional materials made, and there are interviews with local newspapers and radio stations coming up left and right!
I am also coaching dryland hockey training every day this month that there is not a film showing, and some days I am doing both!
Add in enjoying a lot more family time than ever, yard work, house maintenance and the Walk-a-Mile in her shoes fundraiser that I am helping with on August 21st for our Rotary Club, PLUS my commitment to raise money for Polio vaccines by riding my bike at least 650kms each month July through October, and well…. life is busy!!
